She was died in 1631 at the age of 39 while delivering 14th child. Thus, Shah Jahan was decided to give it into a unique shape. This biggest monument took 22 years to be completed with the support of a work force of 20,000 workers and architects. The famous architect was Mohammed Hanif and Ustad Isa, a Persian. The total inlaid material for its construction was brought from Delhi. Additionally, Corals were brought from Arabia and garnets from the Bundlekhand region. In it, the most gorgeous palace was assigned to Queen Mumtaz that was embellished with precious stones to crown the queen of the palace.
